Vicki Jobling

Vicki Jobling is a Partner in LaCava Jacobson’s Jacksonville office where she focuses primarily on defending medical malpractice claims. Vicki returns to LaCava Jacobson after six years in Wisconsin, where worked for the Office of the State Public Defender representing indigent defendants charged with crimes in state court, followed by private practice with Jobling Law LLC, representing clients in all criminal matters including sensitive crimes cases. Through her vigorous pretrial investigation and litigation, Vicki has secured multiple pretrial dismissals of sexual assault cases. Vicki also has significant jury trial experience, obtaining complete acquittals in cases of First-Degree Reckless Homicide, Armed Robbery and Second-Degree Sexual Assault.

Vicki served as Guardian ad Litem (GAL) for the Honorable Bryan Keberlein from January, 2023, to June, 2024, in Winnebago County, Wisconsin, representing the best interest of children and adults in guardianship, protective placement, and Termination of Parental Rights (TPR) actions.

In May, 2024, Ms. Jobling served on the Faculty of the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s Trial Skills Academy in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Before moving to Wisconsin in 2018, Ms. Jobling worked as an Associate at LaCava Jacobson’s Tampa office handling medical malpractice matters from 2015 to 2018. During that time, she was involved as second-chair in two medical malpractice jury trials with Lou LaCava. Ms. Jobling began her legal career with the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office in Tampa, Florida, where she spent four and a half years developing her litigation skills in the defense of indigent clients charged with misdemeanor and felony crimes. Ms. Jobling obtained her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Florida State University in 2005 and graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2010 with Pro Bono Honors.

Ms. Jobling was born in England and enjoys returning to England and Scotland to visit extended family. When not practicing law, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.

She is admitted to practice law in Florida and Wisconsin.
