Shanna Mais

Shanna Mais graduated from Michigan State University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in public policy. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor degree from Ave Maria School of Law in 2023.

While in Law School, she focused on advocacy, competing in Moot Court Competitions. Ms. Mais won the Robert H. Bork Moot Court Competition, and placed 3rd at the National LLSA Moot Court Competition in Denver, Colorado. Ms. Mais also served as Secretary of the Latino Law Student Association and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta. Prior to joining La Cava Jacobson, Ms. Mais was an intern with the 20th Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office. She then joined La Cava Jacobson as a Law Clerk during her second year of law school.

Ms. Mais is an Associate in our Naples office, and her practice is primarily focused on premises liability, general liability, and automobile liability defense.
