Jaclyn Jones

Jaclyn Jones focuses her practice on defending medical malpractice, long-term care, and premises liability claims, and regularly defends healthcare providers in administrative proceedings. Jaclyn practices throughout the state of Florida and has been admitted to the U.S. District for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.

Jaclyn holds two undergraduate degrees from The Ohio State University, in History and Medieval and Renaissance Studies. During her time at Ohio State, Ms. Jones studied abroad in Germany and remains proficient in conversational German. She went on to graduate from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2011 with Pro Bono Honors. While in law school, Ms. Jones clerked for the Honorable Circuit Court Judge, Elizabeth A. Senterfitt, and assisted in the representation of developmentally disabled individuals in administrative proceedings while working in the school’s Disability and Public Benefits Clinic. Upon graduation, Ms. Jones worked for a national law firm litigating property, creditor’s rights, and title disputes on behalf of national banking institutions for several years before following her passion in protecting and defending healthcare providers in medical malpractice claims and administrative matters.

Jaclyn is a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, Florida Society for Health Care Risk Management, and Hillsborough County Bar Association. She is also a member and sits on committees for the Hillsborough Association of Women Lawyers and Junior League of Tampa. She is an Alumni Committee member for Tampa Connection and sits on the Great Futures Professional Council for the Boy & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay.

When she is not practicing law or volunteering her time for local charity organizations, Jaclyn regularly practices advanced yoga, dabbles in golf and other sports, and enjoys traveling, both domestically and abroad.
