Olivia Lewis
Olivia Lewis is an associate attorney focused on civil litigation, with an emphasis on defending complex liability matters. She represents corporate and insurer clients in a wide range of disputes, including premises liability and general negligence actions. Olivia earned her law degree after completing her first two years at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she received top marks in Workers’ Compensation and Employment Law courses. She completed her final year as a visiting student at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, where she was awarded a CALI Award for excellence in Media and the Law. She also holds a degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh. She leverages this background to provide clients with practical, risk-conscious guidance in evaluating and defending claims.
Olivia has substantial experience handling cases from inception through resolution, including drafting dispositive motions, managing written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and preparing cases for trial. She is particularly skilled in developing strategic defenses in high-exposure matters and navigating nuanced issues related to liability, damages, and claims handling. Her approach is both analytical and pragmatic, focused on positioning cases for efficient and favorable resolution.
Prior to her current role, Olivia concentrated her practice on insurance bad faith litigation, where she represented national insurers in both state and federal courts throughout Florida. In that capacity, she developed a strong understanding of claim evaluation, statutory frameworks, and litigation strategy, which continues to inform her approach to defending complex civil claims. Her experience in bad faith litigation provides her with a unique perspective on exposure analysis and insurer decision-making.
