Piper A. Hurley was born outside of Boston, Massachusetts in 1990, but was raised in Orlando, Florida. Ms. Hurley graduated, cum laude from Florida State University in 2013, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and English.
In 2016, she graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, Ms. Hurley served as vice president of the Student Bar Association, and was a member of Phi Delta Phi, an international legal honor society. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2017 and the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida in 2019.
Ms. Hurley’s prior experience involved the defense of medical malpractice claims brought against physicians, hospitals and other healthcare providers. She also handled the defense of general liability cases.
Ms. Hurley will continue to focus her practice on the defense of physicians, nurses, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities and providers in medical malpractice claims. She will also continue to be involved in defending general liability matters. Ms. Hurley is an active member of the Florida Bar Association, American Bar Association, Hillsborough County Bar Association , St. Petersburg Bar Association and St. Petersburg Young Professionals.
