Michelle R. Leone

Michelle R. Leone joined La Cava, Jacobson, as a Registered Nurse/Nurse Paralegal in our West Palm Beach medical malpractice defense department. She was born and raised in Maryland, and proudly relocated to Florida in 2014. Michelle has 15 years of bedside experience in various clinical settings including adult critical care, chest pain center, pediatrics and pediatric intensive care. As a nurse paralegal, she has 20 years of experience working in medical malpractice, general liability, auto negligence and worker’s compensation defense. Michelle attended the nursing program at Montgomery Community College, as well as Lynn University and is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant. Her nurse paralegal experience includes assisting the legal team with review and analysis of medical records, preparation of medical chronologies and summaries, as well as expert retention and communication, discovery document review, and most importantly, assisting her team with preparation for depositions, mediation and trial.
