The office will be helmed by Gregory Glasser, who will be joined by Mario Gomez, and will further the firm’s statewide footprint to better serve its’ clients. Messrs. Glasser and Gomez bring over 50 years of experience defending all types of general liability cases. In addition, the office opens with full support staff to meet our clients’ needs.

Located in the Dadeland Commercial District, the new office brings LJG’s office count to 7 providing statewide and coast-to-coast coverage within the Sunshine State.
Gregory Glasser is active in the South Florida community, having served on the Board and as a Vice President at the Alper Jewish Community Center, and he sponsors multiple programs for Patches (a not-for-profit pediatric care center).
Mr. Glasser’s practice will focus on commercial litigation, catastrophic injury cases (premises liability, negligent security and motor vehicle accidents), insurance coverage disputes, and the defense of professional malpractice matters. His clients range from large insurance companies, banks and hotels, to individuals and their businesses.
Mario Gomez is an experienced trial attorney having served as both defense counsel and in-house counsel throughout his career. Mr. Gomez’s practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury claims involving premises liability, automobile negligence, trucking, and negligent security. Mario has gained significant trial experience throughout his over two decade career. He has first-chaired dozens of cases to verdict.
Mr. Gomez has given dozens of seminars on issues of general liability defense, coverage matters and bad faith litigation. He is an active member of the Florida Bar. Since joining La Cava Jacobson, Mario will continue handling general liability defense, automobile liability defense, insurance issues, and general civil litigation matters.
As we head into the Memorial Day weekend, La Cava Jacobson would like to honor the memory of our servicemen and women who paid the ultimate price to protect our freedom and wanted to thank their families for their sacrifice. We would also like to thank every person who has served and protected the country. We are forever grateful for the ultimate sacrifice of those who died for our country. Congratulations to Lou La Cava, on being inducted as a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers. The ISOB was created in 1965 and is dedicated to preserving trial by jury, the adversary system and an independent judiciary. The organization was formed to recognize each era’s best advocates and to have them join to support the retention of trial by jury, professionalism, and ethics. Membership is by invitation only which is proceeded by a rigorous screening process that considers the lawyer’s ability, experience, accomplishments and ethical standards as assessed by trial lawyers and judges.
