The donations of this amazing, heart-filled event help to provide recreation, developmental play and play therapy for very special children during their hospital stays. La Cava and Jacobson, P.A. was the photo sponsor for the2017 Moffitt Cancer Center Magnolia Ball. Lou and April attended the Ball and made additional donations to support Moffitt’s efforts to fight cancer.

Nearly 750 guests attended Moffitt’s 24th annual Magnolia Ball on May 20, at the Marriott Waterside in Downtown Tampa. Chaired by Moffitt supporters, Frank and Christina Capitano, the ball raised $4 million for patient care, research and education at the cancer center. This record-setting amount is the most ever raised in a single year.

There were a lot of happy folks at Metropolitan Ministries today.   Through our annual fundraiser we donated 87 pounds of food and $8,630.00 in employee and firm matching donations. Each year we strive to exceed what we gave last year.  We are so thankful for our employee’s participation, generosity and initiative to make a difference in the lives of those who are not as fortunate or as  blessed as we are.
